Fantasia di collaborazione (2017) was composed in collaboration with composer Carlotta Ferrari. The work employs the Restarting Pitch Space modal harmony system.

The music was composed as an “exquisite corpse” in six sections, beginning with Ferrari, and alternating several times back and forth between the two composers until Cooman composed the final section.
