Prelude and Fugue No. 9 (2013) is dedicated to Harry Lyn Huff. The prelude begins with a grand chorale-like statement of it main material. This material is then developed over a pulsing accompaniment. The fugue’s subject is developed from the prelude and, following a contrapuntal treatment, the opening chorale returns to close the work.
