Two Parlor Pieces for Reed Organ (2000) was commissioned by Tom and Eileen Marowles in celebration of the refurbishing and grand unveiling of their new home reed organ. The work is in two short movements of contrasting character. Although originally composed for reed organ, they may be played successfully on any other organ as well. The pieces have a wryly humorous character and are best suited for recital.
