Sun-loom (2009), a trio for trumpet, horn, and piano, was written for and is dedicated to Colby Cooman.

The two movements are lyrical in spirit. River of Roses drives forward in effusive, passionate dialogue. Wildflower Garden develops out of an extended melody presented at the outset by the horn.
