Sun Figment (2002) cortège-chorale for solo harp is dedicated to Jean-Thierry Boisseau.

This work incorporates both elements of a cortège (ceremonial procession) and a chorale. Chorale and cortège ideas are juxtaposed throughout. The first part of the work presents a veiled and dark harmonic area. The second part of the work takes the same material and re-casts and develops it in the context of harmonies that grow ever warmer and brighter.
