Sea Psalms (2020) was written for organist Hartmut Siebmanns. The three contrasting movements reflect on verses from three psalms that reference the sea.

1. “Yonder is the sea, great and wide, which teems with things innumerable, living things both small and great. There go the ships, and Leviathan which thou didst form to sport in it.” (Psalm 104:25–26)

2. “Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress; he made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed.” (Psalm 107:28–29)

3. “Thy way was through the sea, thy path through the great waters.” (Psalm 77:19a)
