Pastorella acustica (2019) is dedicated to Hartwig Barte-Hanssen and Tord Siemen. It is a pastorale employing what is often termed the “acoustic mode” (a scale with both a sharped fourth and a flattened seventh), sometimes in several transpositions at once.
