Musica da processione (2018) was composed for the wedding ceremony of Franziska (Hartmann) and Patrick Hahn, August 31, 2019, in the Pauluskirche in Ulm, Germany. It was played by the bride’s father, Philip Hartmann.
The piece is music of festive processional character. The “horn fifths” of the opening motive allude to the bride’s activity as a horn player.
