All shall at last appear
before God’s judgment throne:
no condemnation need they fear
whom Christ has made his own.
In them the Spirit lives
of God who gave his Son;
to them eternal life he gives,
for them is freedom won.
So may our souls increase
in all the Spirit brings,
to find in him our life and peace
above all earthly things.
Once dead in sin and shame,
our life is now with those
who name the all-prevailing Name
and rise as Jesus rose.
Children of God and heirs,
redeemed, beloved and blest,
his Spirit with our spirit shares
to set all doubts at rest.
Our sorrows here are brief
who reign with Christ above,
where glory triumphs over grief
in God’s eternal love.
