Kleine Sternmelodie (2021) was written for the 14th Sendlinger Orgelnacht (“Himmlische Klänge”) in the Himmelfahrtskirche in Munich-Sendling, Germany. It is dedicated to Klaus Geitner. The piece marks the new addition of a celesta stop to the organ in the Himmelfahrtskirche.
(This piece is specifically conceived for the sound of a celesta or glockenspiel stop. Please do not substitute organ chimes or use a pipe solo stop/combination. Using a second player with a mallet glockenspiel or a keyboard celesta is also possible.)
