Kaleidoscope Bells (2021) was written for Klaus Geitner for a recital program on the theme of “kaleidoscope.” The art kaleidoscope is evoked via a series of symmetrical, linked harmonies that unfold luminously and colorfully. The dissonances resulting from the collisions evoke the harmonic series of bells.
