Journeybook II (2010–11), a folio for harpsichord, was written for and is dedicated to Jeffrey Grossman. It is a collection of musical material to be assembled by the harpsichordist into a performance entity. Musically the work combines elements of Baroque dance suites, the French “ordre” collections of harpsichord pieces, continuo improvisation, and contemporary open forms and structures.
