Fanfare on “Er ist erstanden, Halleluja” (2018) is dedicated to Jens-Michael Thies. It is based on a melody from Tanzania paired with a 1969 German Easter text by Ulrich S. Leupold after a 1966 Swahili song by Bernard Kyamanywa.
