An Angel Song (2009) for SATB chorus and cello was commissioned by The Memorial Church at Harvard University for the Harvard University Choir, Edward Elwyn Jones, Gund University Organist and Choirmaster. It is dedicated to Hilary Tann.

The work sets a text by Welsh poet Gwyneth Lewis, the National Poet of Wales from 2005–06 who served as a Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute at Harvard, during the time of the music’s composition.
