Peace Canticle (2018) was written for organist Klaus Stehling and saxophonist Alexander Nikolaev. It is based on the melody Verleih uns Frieden gnädiglich by Martin Luther (1529), with a text adapted from the plainchant Da pacem, Domine (Give peace, Lord).

The outer sections are tranquil and meditative, interrupted briefly by more energetic music.

There are various possibilities for the solo treble instrument including soprano saxophone, clarinet, oboe, and violin.
